Like many families, we once lived the typical fast-paced life—kids in traditional school, long workdays, and a constant race to keep up with everything. We were doing our best to enjoy the small moments, but after Covid we began to realize life didn’t have to look that way.

Around that same time, Tanae’s parents retired and moved to Northwest Arkansas. Together, we dreamed about building something different—a multi-generational homestead where faith, family, and intentional living could take center stage. From that moment on, we began building a life centered around what matters most.

Today we value slow mornings, time around the table with family, traveling the world together, and serving on mission trips whenever we can.

After 20 years in corporate America, we stepped away to pursue a dream we couldn’t shake.

Fun fact: Brad didn’t take his first sip of coffee until he was 40. So when we say this journey was God-led, we truly mean it.

We discovered our love for coffee while serving on missions as a family. No matter the country or culture, coffee became a common language—a way to connect with people, share stories, and create community. It’s a global bridge and a simple comfort in a a hurting world.

We also quickly learned that behind every cup of coffee is a farmer, a family, and a community. Supporting coffee farmers means supporting families around the world, and that became a mission we couldn’t ignore.

With our love for adventure and our growing passion for coffee, Bethel Brew was born: a mobile coffee house named after the Hebrew word for “House of God.”

What started as a small dream has grown into something much bigger.

Today, Bethel Brew is rooted in our Fayetteville location while also offering our private-label coffee beans, bringing the warmth and mission of Bethel Brew straight to homes across the country. Every cup served supports local families and small businesses in Northwest Arkansas, as well as farming communities around the world.

But Bethel Brew has always been about more than coffee.

It’s about creating spaces where people gather, conversations happen, faith is shared, and community is built.
